Description: Here is a great sterling silver and turquoise bolo tie. This is a great large silver tear drop shaped slide with beautiful hand stamped designs. It is set with a gorgeous turquoise cabochon in the center with nice silverwork accenting the stone. It is made from sterling silver and has a good weighted feel to it. The cord is braided black leather with nice sterling silver tips. Fun fact about the bolo tie; Victor Emanuel Cedarstaff of Wickenburg, AZ claims to have invented the bolo tie in the late 1940s and later patented his slide design.

Maker: Hallmarked NJ (stamped in script).

Approx Age: Circa 1960s-1970s.

Size: The bolo slide measures approx. 2-3/4 inches wide X 4-1/8 inches long. It's on a 38 inch long braided leather cord. Weighs 108.1 grams (with part of the cord on the scale as well).

Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.
