DESCRIPTION: Offered here is a vintage sterling silver overlay concho belt. This is a stunning concho belt with a very well done overlay design on the 11 conchos and buckle. The darkened silver background looks like it could have been achieved with a stippling technique. Stippling is a texture applied with a pointed punch. The conchos and buckle are on a nice, black leather belt that would fit through most pant loops.
MAKER: Hallmarked with sun-like figure.
APPROX AGE: Circa 1970s-1980s.
SIZE: The overall length measures 39 inches and a belt width of 1 inch wide. The conchos measure 2-1/4 inches wide x 1-1/4 inches tall. The buckle is 2-3/4 inches wide x 1-3/4 inches tall. The total weight is 373.5 grams.
