Wonderful Storyteller Concho Belt By Peterson

Offered here for your consideration is a wonderful storyteller concho belt. The belt has eight conchos and one buckle. Each oval concho and the oval buckle features a silver and bronze overlay style design depicting one aspect of Native American life such as harvesting, cooking, trading, and protecting the people and the camp. The overlay designs are displayed on a textured and darkened background. An etched technique was used to texture the background. Each concho and the buckle are outlined with twisted wire and a nicely stamped and deep line designed edges. The conchos are on a black leather belt. Add it to your collection!
MAKER: Hallmarked C. Peterson (stamped). Could be Calvin Peterson (Navajo).
APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern (meaning 1980s or newer). 
SIZE: The overall length measures 55 inches long. The conchos measure 3 1/4 inches wide x 2 5/8 inches from top to bottom. The buckle measures 3 1/2 inches wide x 3 inches tall. The total weight is 768.0 grams.
