DESCRIPTION: For your pleasure we offer this great 1920s era, handmade, sterling (or possibly coin) silver, Navajo headstall with a same period rearing horse bit. The unique headstall has a detailed steer head on the brow band. It has fine hand stamping in the silver work throughout and many of the pieces are hand forged "ingot" silver. The brow band also has a dangling "naja" in the center for good luck. This is a great older, handmade Navajo headstall with Buermann rearing horse bit!

MAKER: Headstall is not marked, but is an older Navajo piece based on style and design. The bit is also unmarked but is attributed to Burmann based on the old catalogs.

APPROX AGE: Both items are vintage/antique (Circa 1920s).

SIZE: Bit has a 5 inch mouth piece and cheek measures 7 inches.  Headstall is a pretty standard, but appears to fit a large horse.

CONDITION: Bridle is good for its age, some wear expected and the leather has likely been replaced. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
