Description: This old bracelet is from the famous, Jewel Box collection. The Jewel Box was owned by Morrey and Honeylou Resnick. They opened in 1949 and were located in downtown Phoenix. Later it was moved to North Central Avenue, until it closed in May, 2006. Over the years, they amassed a large collection of Native American Jewelry. Several of their pieces were photographed in the famous Arizona Highways turquoise issues from the 1970s, including the well-known magazines of the January 1974 issue, the August 1974 issue and the March 1975 issue. It features three rows of turquoise "dots" which are made with reconstituted turquoise. This was common on some of these old "tourist" pieces. It also has silver leaf accents. Stamped as sterling silver.
Maker: Unknown, but likely made in one of the old Trading Post type shops from that era.
Approx. Age: Circa 1940s.
Size: Inside circumference measures approx. 5-1/4" with an additional 1" opening (fits a 6-1/4" wrist.) It is just over 1" at its widest part and weighs 37.2 g.
Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.
