For your pleasure here is a great pair of R.F. Ford single mounted spurs. They are done very much in the spirit of an old Crockett spur and these are a fairly early pair of spurs from this maker. R.F. is a Texas bit and spur maker who has been at it full time since the early 1970s. According to sources, Ford began numbering his spurs in 1985 and this pair says, "Replace 984 with 1484." Assuming that means this pair was a replacement for pair 984.

APPROX AGE: Modern.
SIZE: The heel opening is approx 3-1/8". The heel bands are1" wide. The shanks are 3" long (including the rowels).
