Description: A handmade Fred Harvey Era cuff bracelet, set with a lovely, natural, green turquoise cabochon. The bracelet was hand sawn and split. Also has accent drops around the bezel.

Maker: Most likely Navajo or Pueblo, but there is not a maker's mark (as was common of Native Style jewelry from this era).

Approx. Age: Vintage (Circa 1930s - 50s).

Size: Inside circumference measures 5 1/2" plus there is just over a 7/8" gap (making this bracelet fit about a 6 1/4" wrist). It is about 3/4" wide across the face and weighs 25.5 g.

Additional info: The Fred Harvey Era refers to a time frame from about the mid 1950s back to around the turn of the last century. Tourist bought Native Jewelry and other items while traveling by Rail and later by Highway. This old bracelet is from that era and likely came from one of the shops that made several of these. It was tested as being either sterling (.925) or at least coin (.900) silver.

Condition: Pretty good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items. This one has a piece of silver loose where it was split. It looks like it has been that way a very long time and does not seem to affect it, but we wanted to point it out. It would be real easy for a silversmith to tack it back.

Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description.
