DESCRIPTION: For your consideration, here is a great pair of smaller sized Canon City style spurs. They are definitely hand forged, one piece spurs which are single mounted with the typical vine and leaf engraving Canon City was so well known for. These great spurs are silver mounted on one side, chased on the other with brass button covers. At first glance, they almost look like a pair of Jack Ferguson spurs, but these are hand forged from one piece of steel (Jacks are typically two piece) and also, Jack marked his spurs (these are not marked anywhere). Therefore we believe they are a later pair (second half 20th century) and pretty rare pair of CC spurs!

MAKER: An unknown inmate.

APPROX AGE: Circa second half of the 1900s.

SIZE: The heel opening is approx. 2-1/8 inches. The heel bands are 5/8 inches wide and the shanks are 2-1/2 inches long (including the rowels).

CONDITION: Good, minimal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
