Description: Look at this unique old hat basket! It displays very nicely and is a wonderful conversation starter! Besides being woven in the shape of a hat, it has wonderful patterns woven into the design. It was woven with willow and devil's claw on a three-rod foundation. This is a very rare old basket that is also highly collectible! It would be a great item to add to your collection and it will help decorate what ever room you display it in at the same time!
Remember, we accept returns for 30 days (just in case you are not satisfied in any way), so what have you got to lose?. We stand behind what we sell and want you to be happy!

Maker: Unknown maker, but it appears to be Western Apache or possibly Yavapai in origin.

Approx. Age: Antique, circa early 1900s.

Size: Measures 15-1/8" wide X  3-3.4" deep.

Condition: Pretty good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected and please take note, a previous owner used a nail to hang it with at some point and there is a nail hole near the edge of the brim on one side. Unfortunately, this was a pretty common practice back in the day. Other than that, this is really a good condition basket for its age.

Please look closely at the pictures as are an important part of our description.
