Description: Here is a great example of early Hopi overlay style work. It is a nice and well made pin that has hand stamped patterns incorporated with the overlay. Features a serpent design. Tested as sterling silver.
Maker: Has the Hopi Guild mark and a turtle. The turtle is Eddie Nequatewa's mark. Eddie was one of the Hopi GI Bill Class guys 1949-1951.
Approx. Age: Circa 1950s vintage.
Size: Measures a 2" w X 2" l. Weighs 33.5g.
