Offered for your consideration is a circa 1940s box bow turquoise and sterling silver squash blossom necklace with hand stamped and handmade beads. This beautiful necklace features a three wire naja created with two carinated wires and a central twisted wire accent, adorned with three turquoise cabochons all resting in smooth silver bezels. The neckline is filled with 20 box bow style blossoms, each with one turquoise cabochon resting in smooth silver bezels accented with hand stamped design. Two strands of handmade sterling silver beads conjoined into one strand, strung on foxtail wire with silver findings at the ends, complete this marvelous piece. This necklace is engraved with what appears to be a social security number and initials, please see pictures for details. Don't miss out and buy it now!
MAKER: Unmarked. Likely Navajo based on style and design, however this item is unmarked (as was common of Native jewelry from this era). 
APPROX AGE: Circa 1940s.
SIZE: This necklace measures approximately 24 inches from end to end, and the naja measures approximately 1 3/4 inches across (at the widest point) x 1 3/4 inches from top to bottom. The blossoms each measure approximately 1 3/16 inches long by 3/8 inches wide. The total weight for this item is 92.1 grams.
