Description: Here is a stunning handmade turquoise squash blossom necklace. This necklace is set with beautiful, natural turquoise stones which we believe to be from the Fox mine. The turquoise is set in handmade bezels. The necklace is also made using handmade beads, which are strung on foxtail. The blossoms also have a unique fleur-de-lis looking design. It is accented throughout with stamp work and stamped silver drops. When looking at the overall construction and design elements of this necklace, it has been attributed as having been made by the well known artist Dan Simplicio.


Maker: Attributed to Dan Simplicio (1917-1969) Zuni.

Approx. Age: Circa 1950s.

Size: It fits approx. 28 inches around the neck. The pendant hangs down below that and measures 3-5/8 inches wide X 4-1/4 inches long. It weighs 271.6 g.

Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description.
