Description: A Fred Harvey Era cuff bracelet with a beautiful, large cabochon of blue/green turquoise stone. It is a shop made piece from one of the old Trading Post type of shops. The cuff has crossed arrow applique' with arrows, birds and other symbols stamped on the terminals.

Maker: Most likely a Navajo or Pueblo worker at one of the old shops, but there is not maker's mark (as was common of Native Style jewelry from this era).

Approx. Age: Vintage (Circa 1930s).

Size: Inside circumference measures 5 1/2" plus there is just over a 7/8" gap (making this bracelet fit about a 6 3/8" wrist). It is about 1" wide across the face and weighs 21.7 g.

Additional info: The Fred Harvey Era refers to a time frame from about the mid 1950s back to around the turn of the last century. Tourist bought Native Jewelry and other items while traveling by Rail and later by Highway. This old bracelet is from that era and likely came from one of the shops that made several of these. It was tested as being either sterling (.925) or at least coin (.900) silver.

Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.
