Hefty Vintage Five Stone Turquoise Bracelet By Fred Thompson

This bracelet features five natural turquoise stones displayed in smooth silver bezels accented with silver dots, all resting on a darkened silver background. The three wire terminal features a center twisted wire, conjoined ends, and hand stamped designs on the carinated edges. MAKER: Hallmarked with tilde (stamped). Fred Thompson (1921 to 2002; Navajo).  Active 1936 to 1990s. He was a silversmith for Tobe Turpen's Indian Trading Company starting in 1936. He also operated his own shop in Churchrock, NM. 
APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between the 1930s 1970s). 
SIZE: This bracelet measures approximately 5 1/4 inches from end to end on the silver, and has a 1 3/8 inch gap (fits a 6 5/8 inch wrist). It measures 1 inches wide at the widest part, and the total weight is 80.8 grams.
