DESCRIPTION: Presented for your pleasure is a nice pair of old McChesney gooseneck style spurs. They are single mounted, ladies (or kids) sized, spurs from the early 1900s and appear to be in all original condition. The spurs are hand forged with hand engraving and they come with spur leathers (with a steer head stamped on them).These spurs are unmarked, but clearly a pair of No. 21 pattern spurs from the old McChesney catalog. These great spurs are a fairly rare find.
MAKER: Attributed to J.R. McChesney (who never signed his work).
APPROX AGE: Circa early 1900s.
SIZE: Heel opening is 2-1/2". Bands are 3/8" wide. Shanks are 1-3/4'' long including rowels.
CONDITION: Good for their age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
