DESCRIPTION: Offered here is a vintage turquoise and sterling silver Manta pin. This pin features a cluster of small turquoise cabochons of various shades of green and blue (due to the age and being natural turquoise). They are accented with loops of twisted wire, and beautiful silverwork throughout. The silverwork is accented with cutout designs that add to the beautiful look an design. Manta pins were used as a shoulder closure for the Pueblo dress or shawl called a "Manta." Many of the Pueblo tribes wore these and some had slight variations in design.
