DESCRIPTION: Presented here is a nice vintage turquoise and coral butterfly necklace. This is a beautiful older, Zuni style necklace with five butterfly "pendants". Each butterfly features incredible turquoise and coral cabochons in handmade sawtooth bezels, with silver dots and twisted wire accents. It is sterling silver and conjoined by a handmade link chain. This item is unmarked, however, it is marked with a traders code of "A E X"; these marks were often used at trading posts in place of tags in order to confirm price and more!
MAKER: Unmarked, however, is etched with a traders code, "A E X".
APPROX AGE: Circa 1950-1960s.
SIZE: This necklace measures approx. 21 inches around the neck, and the butterflies measure 7/8 inch long x 1 inch wide at the widest part. The total weight for this item is 27.9 grams.
