Description: Offered here is a gorgeous 1950s-1960s sterling silver sandcast bracelet. It is set with two stunning, older, natural turquoise stones (please look closely at pictures) and highlighted with a wavy terminal with twisted wire accents. It has a great weighted feel to it and it made from sterling silver. The Sandcast process uses a special type of sand that has a clay-like consistency to create a mold into which molten silver is poured.
Maker: Hallmarked VA conjoined. Vidal Aragon (1923-2015; Kewa). Active since about 1940. Studied silver-smithing at Sante Fe Indian School in the 1930s.
Approx. Age: Circa 1950s-60s.
Size: Inside circumference measures approx. 5-7/8 inches with an 1-1/4 additional inch opening (making it fit an approx. 7-1/8 inch wrist.) It is 2-1/8 inches wide at its widest part and weighs 118.9 g.
Condition: Good for its age. There is a small hairline crack in one stone, please see pictures. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.
