Available here for your consideration is a pair of Spanish style spurs with drop shanks and silver mountings. These great spurs are single mounted with beautiful engraved silver and a silver engraved concho style button with stamped designs and twisted rope edging on the outside. They are complete with original heel chains and have leather straps with floral designs. They have a curled chap guard and 16 point rowels. The history of bits and spurs in North America begins with the Spanish who first came to the new world in the 1500s, bringing horses and livestock with them. The Spanish colonial style is the predecessor of the Californian and Mexican styles we know today. These spurs are nice examples of that heritage. Add them to your collection today!

SIZE: The heel openings measure 3 3/4 inches, the band width measures 3/8 inch and the shanks measure 3 1/8 inches long overall. The buttons measure 2 1/8 inches in diameter.
