Description: This hefty built belt won first place at the Original American Indian & Western Relic Show in 1975. It is on a brown leather belt which appears to be original. The gorgeous, oval shaped conchos and buckle are hand-stamped sterling silver and are really well done. It was tested as being sterling silver. Maker: Most likely Navajo made, but there is no maker's hallmark (which is common of Native American jewelry made in the early 1970s or prior). |
Age: Vintage. Circa mid-century or a bit earlier.
Size: Conchos measure 3 5/8" wide x 4 5/8". Buckle is 3" w x 4" h. Belt is 52" long overall. Weight is a solid, 920g.
Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.
