Available for your pleasure is a vintage Hopi basket from 2nd Mesa. Baskets are vital to the Hopi people and Hopi baskets are among the finest such items produced by the Southwest’s Native people. This large basket features two Kachina figures split with geometric patterns (possibly corn motifs). This piece is made from beargrass or galleta grass and yucca. The polychrome colors are made from vegetal dyes. This basket would look great in your home or office, so buy it today!
