With amazing detail, this bronze depicts a Native Yaqui dancer dressed to be a part of the Deer Dance ceremony and sacred blessing. The deer is a symbol of goodness and the dancers dance with thankfulness in the deer's honor. This numbered bronze, 6/30, is a perfect example of the incredible connection the artist, Daro Flood, had to the natural world and to the Native Americans he often depicted in his sculptures. SIZE: Bronze measures approximately 11 inches wide x 27 inches tall. Base measures 7 inches x 7 inches x 3 1/2 inches tall.
