DESCRIPTION: For your pleasure, here is a great old pair of J.O. Bass spurs! These single mounted spurs are marked No. 400 made by J.O. Bass, Tulia, Tex. on the outer heel band of one spur. They have heart buttons which are mounted with half copper and half silver overlay. They have large 6 point rowels which appear to be original. This is a fine chance to own a pair of hard to find spurs by this legendary Texas maker.
MAKER: J.O. Bass (1879-1950).
APPROX AGE: Circa 1920s.
SIZE: The heel opening is approx 3-1/4". The heel bands are 1" wide. The shanks are 3-1/2" long (including the rowels).
CONDITION: Good for their age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
