Fancy Spurs, Conchos, Buckles And Bridle Buckle By Clint Mortenson

Offered here a pair of fancy spurs that come with matching conchos and buckles on the spur straps and also included is a matching bridle buckle - all done by Clint Mortenson. These double mounted spurs are wonderfully decorated with silver overlay at each end of the heel bands and centered with an expertly detailed face of a Native American in a full feathered headdress. The opposite heel band bears a large, incised silver feather. The shanks are decorated on each side in similar, but not identical, silver and copper overlay plates, each of which has been painstakingly detailed. Mr. Mortensen's passion for his craft continued with the nine point handmade rowels fashioned in the shape of feathers. Large conchos featuring the Native American design grace the spur straps. Not stopping there, this set includes a bridle buckle that carries the Native American motif forward. No detail has been overlooked on these spurs, conchos, buckles and bridle buckle. APPROX AGE: Modern.
SIZE: The heel openings measure 3 3/8 inches, the band width measures 1 1/4 inches at widest point and the shanks measure 3 1/4 inches long overall.
