Description: A beautiful old bridle that is a combination of hitched and hand braided horsehair. The horsehair is done with natural colors and is accented with many well executed knots, hand braided horsehair rosettes and 84 inch hand braided reins. This headstall has an antique Buermann "Kissing Birds" bit on it. This is a good looking old bridle and most likely was Arizona Prison made.
Maker: Buermann Bit and the headstall is attributed to being Arizona Prison made.
Approx Age: Early 1900s.
Size: Bit has a 4-3/4 inch mouth piece and is 7 inches long overall. The headstall is a standard adjustable size and fits most average sized horses.
Condition: Pretty good for its age, some wear and minor imperfections expected.
