DESCRIPTION: For your consideration is an antique pair of spurs attributed to August Buermann. They feature a chevron style inlay pattern and have a scalloped chevron pattern on the off side. These great spurs are similar to pattern number 1476 in the old August Buermann catalogs and can be seen on page 2 of that publication. They have turned up chap guards, engraved heel chain hangers and even the 10 point rowels have been chased. The double heel chains appear original and this is a nice old pair of cowboy spurs.

MAKER: Unmarked but attributed to August Buermann. (similar to pattern number 1476 in the old August Buermann catalog, can be seen on page 2 of that publication).

APPROX AGE: Circa early 1900s.

SIZE: Heel opening is 3-1/4 inches. Bands are 1/2 inch wide. Shanks are 2-1/2 inches long including the rowels
