Created for the convention in Denver, this pair stands out for a clever detail: engraved cattle-ear-tag-shaped jingle bobs. Traditional jingle bobs add movement and sound to a spur; here, Schmitt adapted them to the event’s cattle-industry setting.

The double-mounted spurs feature engraved silver, handmade 14-point rowels, matching leather straps, a Cattleman’s Centennial silver plate, and the maker’s mark “Schmitt A P.” Together, these details document both Schmitt’s craftsmanship and the purpose for which the pair was made.
