Custom Hansen Chuck Wagon - The Dakota Cowboy Model - With Numerous Accessories and Custom Trailer

Offered here for your consideration is a custom Hansen Wheel & Wagon Shop chuck wagon known as the "Dakota Cowboy model" and it comes with numerous accessories and a custom trailer. This exquisite chuck wagon was restored in 2006 from a 1916 Peter Schuttler wagon. It was made for the 88 Ranch in Douglas, Wyoming, retaining its original high-wheel running gear and box. The newer components were all handmade and include wagon bows, ratchet brake, jockey box, front toolbox, and a chuck box highlighted with a copper finished table top. Hansen Wheel & Wagon Shop custom builds these wagons using historically accurate construction methods and authentic hardware inspired by the original wagon makers. A few of the plethora of accessories include a wood water barrel with lid, lantern hangers with lanterns, axe and leather axe sheath, cooking tripod with hooks, cast iron Dutch ovens, kettles, tin plates, camp table, Tee Pee, bedrolls and even a sign like the one from Lonesome Dove, the movie. The trailer is a Big Tex, tandem-axle transport trailer that has been upgraded and modified to haul this wonderful chuck wagon with ease. This is truly an impressive and authentic, complete camp setup, suitable for ranch, chuck wagon competition, commercial presentation, or put it in a museum - it is of that quality. APPROX. AGE: Running gear and box are original dating to 1916. The wagon itself was restored in 2006.
SIZE: This wagon measures approximately 15 feet long (including the fold out table top) x 6 feet at the widest point x 9.5 ft. tall. The front wheels measure 44 inches and the rear wheels measure 54 inches in diameter.
CONDITION: Very good to excellent overall condition with light wear from display and use. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
