For your consideration is a great pair of old California spurs attributed to Hernadez. The spurs are mounted with nice silver work on one side and there are tooled designs in the steel on other. These great spur leathers have floral stamped leathers with high domed, card suite conchos. Research suggests there were five Hernandez who made bits and spurs which were sold through various retailers such as Visalia, Main and Winchester, F.M. Stern and L.D. Stone. They were rarely marked. Their work is of high quality and very collectible.
