Offered here for your consideration is an original oil painting by Francis Beaugureau of a man, with arms crossed, wearing a hat. Francis lived in Scottsdale, Arizona, for 47 years (1954-2001), maintaining a studio on Chapparral Road. Beaugureau is known for a series of thirty paintings, named The Indian Wars in Arizona 1846-1886, for which he thoroughly researched the subject matter and produced one of the most historically accurate records of the state's history. This large painting is striking and would make a nice addition to your home or office. Signed lower right, "Beaugureau" (copy of a recent appraisal comes with it).
