Available here for your consideration is a nice pair of California style spurs with straps. These single mounted spurs come with triple heel chains, nice conchos on the straps, chap guards and more. Beautiful inlay silver designs decorate the heel bands which also have two large incised silver buttons. The shanks are decorated in silver inlay and terminate in 14 point handmade rowels. The leather straps have a basket weave pattern and are enhanced even more with nice silver conchos and buckles with tips. These spurs were made with attention to detail and with pride!
The history of bits and spurs in North America begins with the Spanish who first came to the new world in the 1500s, bringing horses and livestock with them. The Spanish colonial style is the predecessor of the Californian and Mexican styles we know today. These spurs are fine examples of that heritage.
