Available here for your consideration is a nice pair of Ron Bliss mounted spurs #228. These single mounted spurs feature a silver overlay with intricate engraved detailing. Completing the pair are 14 point rowels, engraved buttons and tooled leather straps fitted with silver buckles. These would be a great addition to any collection!
MAKER: Marked MAKER BLISS (stamped). Ron Bliss. He is a contemporary American bit and spur maker from the Southwest, known for crafting handmade Western gear rooted in working cowboy tradition. A former cowboy, he turned to spur making full time after a horse-related accident in 1999, building a reputation for functional, finely detailed pieces with classic silver work and engraving.
APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern.
SIZE: The heel openings measure 3 inches, the band width measures 3/8 inch and the shanks measure 2 1/2 inches long overall including the rowels.
