Description: WOW! This is a beautiful and historic turquoise cluster bracelet! It is featured in the March 1975 issue of Arizona Highways, both on the cover (top center) and on page 7 in the lower left area. It is set with 65 turquoise stones. This is a well made bracelet using sterling silver. This bracelet is from the famous, Jewel Box collection. The Jewel Box was owned by Morrey and Honeylou Resnick. They opened in 1949 and were located in downtown Phoenix. Later it was moved to North Central Avenue, until it closed in May, 2006. Over the years, they amassed a large collection of Native American Jewelry. Several of their pieces were photographed in the famous Arizona Highways turquoise issues from the 1970s, including the well-known magazines of the January 1974 issue, the August 1974 issue and the March 1975 issue. This is one of those pieces! It is listed in their inventory as being published, they are credited in the magazine and under close examination this bracelet and the one in the magazine match exactly! Own a piece of history!

Maker: Unmarked, but vintage Zuni or Navajo by style.

Approx. Age: Circa 1950s - 1960s.

Size: Inside circumference measures approx. 5 7/8" with an additional 1 1/2" opening (fits a 7 3/8" wrist.) 3 3/8" at its widest part and weighs 108.9g.

Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.
