For your consideration are these highly collectible pair of inside marked O. Crockett spurs. They have the star and 2 half moons pattern mounted in silver overlay on the bands and also have silver overlay on the shanks and over the rowel pin areas. They have chap guards and extra large, 12 point rowels which appear to be original. According to most experts, the O. Crockett inside mark is one of the earliest Crockett hallmarks, and these spurs were likely made while he was Kansas City or shortly after moving to Pawhuska. These would have been made by Oscar himself before he started hiring helpers to make spurs in masse.
