DESCRIPTION: For your consideration here is a great old Santa Barbara style spade bit. It has a tall spade with copper cricket and another copper roller at the top of the spade. The bars are also covered with copper rollers. It has inlaid silver work on the cheek pieces and conchos as well. The engraving and the overall style of the piece strongly suggest it was made by Alberto Espinosa. This is a great old spade bit for your collection.

MAKER: Unmarked, but attributed to Alberto Espinosa (1858 - 1937).

APPROX AGE: Circa 1890s.

SIZE: It has a 4 inch mouth piece. It is 7 inches long overall.
