Description: Here we have a stunning a Bisbee turquoise and sterling silver squash blossom. It is set with 20 Bisbee turquoise cabochons that have a lot of matrix and host rock with the blue color peeking out. It has handmade beads, strung on foxtail chain and is made from sterling silver. The Bisbee turquoise mine is one of the few most famous turquoise mines in Arizona. Bisbee is known for the outstanding variety of copper-based minerals and the specimens that have been found in the mine. Bisbee turquoise has only ever been actively mined by one independent miner for a short 2 year period from 1972-1974.

Approx. Age: Circa 1960s-1970s.

Size: It measures approx. 29 inches from end to end. The pendant measures 3-1/2 inches wide X 3-1/4 inches long. It weighs 235.6 g.

Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.
