Description: This is a unique channel inlay cuff bracelet that also features some overlay work. It is from the famous, Jewel Box collection. The Jewel Box was owned by Morrey and Honeylou Resnick. They opened in 1949 and were located in downtown Phoenix. Later it was moved to North Central Avenue, until it closed in May, 2006. Over the years, they amassed a large collection of Native American Jewelry. Several of their pieces were photographed in the famous Arizona Highways turquoise issues from the 1970s, including the well-known magazines of the January 1974 issue, the August 1974 issue and the March 1975 issue. The Reznik's original tag with information has been left attached. According to their records, this was set with blue gem turquoise and it forms a neat geometric pattern. It is unique in that is also has some overlay designs. This is a stout bracelet with a nice, hefty feel to it. Tested as sterling silver.

Maker: Joseph (Joe) Begay, Navajo.

Approx. Age: Vintage, but new, old stock (NOS).

Size: Inside circumference measures approx. 5-1/8" with an additional 1-3/8" opening (fits a 6-1/2" wrist.) 1-5/8" at its widest part and weighs 124.2 g.

Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.
