For your consideration, we present an Arizona Prison hitched horsehair bridle and prison made bit. This bridle has characteristics of both Yuma and Florence prisons, so it is hard to say for sure which one it came from. Since the Yuma prison was moved to Florence in 1912, it is very possible to have both influences. The horsehair on this one is done with multiple colors and is accented with many well executed knots and horsehair reins. This headstall has an German Silver rosettes and an old prison made spade bit with floral design engraving on the shanks. This is a good looking and highly collectible old bridle.
