Available here for your consideration is a vintage unique pictorial rug attributed to Suzy Black circa 1960 - 1970s. This rug was woven with hand carded and hand spun wool. It features various animal and other motifs. Some of the items are stars, bees, owls, trucks, a power plant, an ostrich, a hogan and much more. The weaving is done with grey, white, brown, yellow, peach and black colors. Some of the colors are natural wool and some are aniline or vegetal dyes. Suzy Black also known as Susie Black, was a well known creative weaver who wove unique folk-art-like pictorials in the 1950s - 1970s. She had a huge influence on Linda Nez and current day pictorial weavers. This is your rare opportunity to own a piece of history.
