Description: This is a stunning pair of Knifewing earrings that are attributed to John Gordon Leek. Leek was the first to implement black backgrounds into Zuni Native American jewelry, and is one of the highest skilled inlay artist of his time. They were recently converted from clip-ons to a hook/dangle. These earrings are set with turquoise, coral, onyx, and mother of pearl in sterling silver. They are also highly collectible earrings.

Maker: Attributed to John Gordon Leek Zuni. Active during 1920-1950s.

Approx. Age: Circa 1930-40s.

Size: They measure 7/8 inches wide (at the widest point) X 7/8 inches long and they weigh approx. 7.8 g.

Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.
